Affordable Coffee Service For Business
Answer a few questions to get started
Get your Coffee Delivered & Stay Energized
Many Americans have made coffee a permanent fixture in their daily rituals. There seems to never be a shortage of coffee shops from Starbucks to Coffee Bean throughout any city. In short, America runs on coffee, with some people having as many as 3 cups a day! Loyal consumers view it as a necessary element in order to be productive, focused, and alert for their job. However, making a coffee stop on the way to your office job and in the middle of your work day can take up a lot of time and money throughout the week. In some businesses, employees are not even able to leave their work site until their shift is complete. This may impact the work performance and efficiency of the employee. For those who are able to leave, their drive to get coffee can oftentimes disrupt their work flow and focus. This is why more and more work facilities are including an in-house coffee delivery service for their employees to save them time and money, as well as keep their workers happy.
How Coffee Services Work
Coffee service companies deliver coffee to your location regularly so that you do not have to pick up the supplies yourself. These companies have a large range of products and services to choose from, depending on your business's preferences. These services range from coffee and tea, water coolers, single cup coffee presses, and even vending machines. Coffee service providers will restock your business location with packets of regular and decaf coffee/teas, cream, sugar, sweetener, and brewing machines. In some instances, you may also have your vending machines restocked. The type of business that you run may require multiple services or more frequent delivery of products. You can discuss how often you will need products delivered and restocked with the coffee service company you select. Some bigger businesses need weekly service, while smaller work areas may only require delivery once a month or so. It all depends on what is best for your business.
What type of coffee brewer should you choose for your office?
There are several different types and styles of coffee brewers, presses, and machines that coffee service providers may have. Your decision is based off of the quality and preferences that your company has. The specific benefits your company is looking to have can also affect your decision. For example, you might want to add a coffee machine in order to improve and position your break room as a place for employees to interact or relax.
- Classic Drip Brewer: The classic drip brewer is the most common way people enjoy coffee. These are the machines that you will usually see inside someone's home. You filter pre-ground coffee beans through hot water, and it slowly drips into the coffee pot. A typical brewer makes 6-8 cups of fresh coffee in 5 minutes. They also feature a spout for filtered hot water so that employees are able to make hot tea.
- Bean-To-Cup Machine: This single cup machine has a built in coffee bean grinder. This machine will save the time it takes to get your beans grounded, as well as makes a fresh cup of every cup! Bean-to-cup machines have many options ranging from classic cups of coffee to lattes. How it works is after you place the beans in the bean grinder, the machine will hold them until your request has been made. After you select the beverage that you want, the machine grinds up the beans and pours the perfect cup of coffee within 3 minutes. These machines are great for a large workplace because you do not have to constantly refill or remake coffee. However, if you have a high volume break room, it could eat up a lot of time if multiple staff members are trying to get their cup.
- Single Cup Brewer: These machines are very popular in homes across the world. Using a serving in a single-use, prepackaged ramekin (called K-Pods), the single cup brewer makes one hot cup of coffee at a time within minutes. These machines are not very versatile, but they do consistently make the perfect cup of coffee. The only issue with these is they may end up costing you more money in delivery fees, as you have to constantly replace the single use K-Pods.
- Low Profile Thermal: Low profile thermals will hold coffee for the duration of the day; however, they do take time to fill. You have to make the coffee externally and then pour it into the thermal. These are more popularly used at outdoor events and gatherings because they do not require an electrical outlet to function. These thermals hold anywhere from 32oz-64oz of hot beverages.
- Cappuccino Vending Machines: One of the quickest and most affordable ways of getting coffee is from cappuccino vending machines. These dispense premade coffee for as little as $0.75 a cup while including a range of menu items such as lates, coffee, cappuccinos, and americanos. These are popular in high volume public areas such as a courtroom lobby. The machine dispenses a cup and then pours your hot beverage into the cup.
Every year, more offices are adding some sort of coffee service to their locations. Coffee is a great way to build community in your office while providing the necessity that many Americans find this drink to be. If you are trying out a new way to optimize your work environment, speak with a coffee service professional about what coffee service fits the needs of your company.
